1.0 - INSTALLING CONSTRUCTION NOTES MANAGER

1  -  Navigate to CNM's "Setup.exe" file and double click it.  This will initiate the installation program.
    Follow all prompts as reqested.  You may wish to choose "yes" when asked to save
    backup information.  This can be used later in case you need to restore system settings if     
    uninstalling the program.

2  -  Once installed, the program is ready to run in AutoCAD.  However, if for some reason it
     appears not to be working, see below for manual setup of the program.

Manual CNM Setup for AutoCAD

Step 1 - Open AutoCAD and type "Options" and click on "Support File Search Path"

Step 2 - Click on "Add" and then "Browse" in order to add the program's folder "CNM" to the
      searchpath.  (Or what ever the installed file folder is named).  Select the directory  
      C:\program files\CNM.  Once selected hit OK to  select the path.  Finally, in the options
      dialogue box click "Apply" or "Ok" and Close the Opions dialogue box.

Step 3 - At the command prompt, type

(command "menuload" "cnm.mnu")

Once you have completed these 3 easy steps, the Construction Notes Manager (CNM) is ready to use!  You're welcome to try it out!  However, we suggest you take just a few moments to follow the step by step guide to using the CNM program.  It will take about a half an hour to an hour to go through it.  Once you complete this short tutorial you will be an expert at using this easy, time saving program!

Un-Installing Construction Notes Manager

1  -  In order to "Uninstall" Construction Notes Manger, navigate to the installation directory
    and double click "unins000.exe".  This will initiate the "uninstall" and will restore system settings
    as were set prior to installation.

2  -  After completed you may need to manually delete any left over files and folders
    associated with the  program.
