value must be non-zero

Postby Robert F » Fri Jun 05, 2009 3:56 pm

What does "value must be non zero" error mean?
When I tried to create the notes list, I got this error after editing the notes file. I looked at it and saw no errors.

I think AutoCAD is complaining about inserting a block at 0 scale. I think this happens when dimtxt is 0. It could also happen if dimscale is 0. Can you check those?

Sorry, I did not see your reply. Dimtxt was 0.120, Dimscale was at 0, what should it be? I tried 1, but it still did not work.
You saw my other question about "stringp nil"?
I don't understand these troubles. When I first ran CNM, it was great with no problems. What changed do you suppose?
Is there a way to "re-set" the values to go back to how it was before?

I also am confused. I don't know what could have changed your variables. CNM doesn't change dimtxt or dimscale.

DIMSCALE
You can just type DIMSCALE or you can use the drawing status bar scale selector in 2008 (I think) and above. Set it to 40 or 20 or whatever your drawing scale is.

DIMTXT
Should be the desired plotted text height in inches.

LDT
It's possible LDT could be changing things on you. I think if you use the status bar scale selector you will be okay.
