CONS NOTES IN MULTIPLE LAYOUTS

Postby JLCART » Wed Mar 26, 2008 2:30 pm

DOES CNM PRO HAVE THE ABILITY TO SEPERATE THE NOTE OUT INTO INDIVIDUAL LAYOUTS. THE COMPANY I WORK FOR LIKES TO HAVE MULTIPLE LAYOUTS IN ONE DWG FILE, AND I AM TRYING TO MAKE THIS PROGRAM WORK EFFECTIVELY FOR THEM.

NEXT, I AM HAVING TROUBLE CUSTOMIZING THE CNM FOR THE COLORS, SIZES AND STYLES. EXAMPLE, IF I CHANGE THE SIZE OF THE CIRCLE IN THE CIRCLE NOTES BLOCK I CAN'T GET THE HOOK TO FOLLOW. WE WOULD ALSO LIKE TO ADD A WIPEOUT TO THE PROCESS. CAN THIS BE DONE IF SO HOW?

Thanks for dropping by, jlcart. Also, thanks for using CNM. I'll see if I can guide you through the resolution of your issues.

1. LAYOUTS

Go to the CNM folder, open CNM.INI, and look for this line:
DoCurrentTabOnly=0

Change it to say
DoCurrentTabOnly=1

This will set your default. Also make the same change in the CNM.INI for any projects CNM has already been used for. This will set them to the desired behavior.

That should produce the behavior you are looking for. Let me know how it goes.

2. HOOK AND BUBBLE SIZE

First, it sounds like you are using bubbles with hooks. Is this correct?
Also, can you tell me if you are having any other issues besides the hook thing?

3. WIPEOUT
This is something that sounds new to me, but it should be possible. Are you already editing the NOTECIRL1 and NOTECIRR1 drawings?

4. BUBBLE BLOCKS GENERAL
A. Bubble Blocks
Every bubble note style you use has 3 blocks: Left, Right, and Double.
Blocks for use with hooks are style number 1, without hooks are style number 2.
Example:
NOTECIRR2.DWG = Right side block for circles without hooks
NOTEHEXD1.DWG = Double (dragging) block for hexagons with hooks

B. Hook Blocks
There are 2 hook blocks
NOTEHKL.DWG
NOTEHKR.DWG
